Information Collection
We collect Business Information when you use certain features of the website, such as signing up to be an authorized dealer or becoming a supplier, emailing or submitting information, questions, or comments to us, or applying for a job with us.
We may ask for information such as your company name, DBA, whether your business is based in the United States, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, website address, sales tax license/sellers permit, federal employer identification number, home state sales tax license number, employee count, year established, annual sales volume, identity of purchasing contact, accounts payable contact, business type, primary market focus, business structure, name of owners and percentage ownership. Business Information (“Business Information”). You control the types of Business Information that you provide; however, our response may be limited or not available if you do not provide enough information. If you are registering to access our Portal, we may also request information about your business.

We may use Business Information for the following purposes:
Cell Phone Use
Data Collection Details: If you opt in to receiving texts to a cell phone (SMS), you agree to receive SMS messages from Turn 14 Distribution to conduct business. In addition to Business Information, Turn 14 Distribution will collect by method of a web based digital form a cell phone number and the name of any individual associated with that cell phone number (“Cell Phone Information”).
Consent and Opt-In Requirements: Your consent and opt-in to receiving texts to a cell phone (SMS) will be gathered on our web based digital Dealer Application Form or an amendment to that form.
Data Usage Statement: The purpose that Turn 14 Distribution collects Cell Phone Information is in response to your request for a method of communication that is convenient and efficient for you to conduct business. Turn 14 Distribution will use Cell Phone Information to take orders, provide order support, process returns, make changes, or cancellations. Turn14 Distribution does not use Cell Phone Information for promotional purposes.
Security Measures: All data related to texting is housed in our vendor database Avaya. Their policies and attestations of security standards can be found on www.avaya.com/en/privacy/policy/. Turn 14 Distribution protects your Business Information and information conveyed by cell phone communications with industry-standard encryption.
Data Retention and Deletion: We currently have a 90-day retention of texts and phone logs, and they are thereafter automatically deleted.
Turn 14 Distribution will retain your Cell Phone Information while you are currently doing business with them and for a period of one (1) year after you place your last order, at which time your Cell Phone Information will be archived.
Opt-Out Options: At any time, you may opt out of texting by replying STOP. You may opt out of any sale or sharing of information that is permitted below, and you may elect to have Cell Phone Information deleted by contacting Turn14 Distribution by email, text, or phone call to your Sales Representative. Turn 14 Distribution will confirm any election to opt out.
Non-Sharing Clause: Turn 14 Distribution will only share your Cell Phone Information with your consent, and only with third parties that are associated with your order, such as the manufacturer of goods. Turn 14 Distribution will not sell or share your date in any other circumstance.
Automated Information Collection
We may automatically gather certain information about the use of the website including using cookies or similar technologies. This information typically includes your IP address, the identity of your Internet service provider, the names and versions of your operating system and browser, the date and time of your visit, and the pages you visit.
